Dear Parents and Guardians,
Happy New Year! We hope you and your family enjoyed a restful and joyful winter break. We are excited to welcome our students back for the second semester and look forward to a successful start to the new year.
Please review the following important updates and upcoming dates:
Student Return & Reporting
Students will return to school on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
All students should report to school by 8:00 a.m.
After 8:00 a.m., students must be escorted by an adult and checked in through the front office.
All 6th grade students should report to the cafeteria upon arrival.
Report cards will be sent home on January 7, 2026.
Academic Focus
Attention 6th grade parents: This semester, we will place a strong emphasis on enhancing writing skills across content areas.
Students' schedules will now include a 40-minute WIN (What I Need) time, focused on closing learning gaps and providing acceleration in Math and Language Arts.
Students should continue working on Liftoff or Khan Academy for at least 30 minutes per day per subject to support learning at home.
School Information & Events
Yearbooks are now on sale for $30.
House Hoodies are available for $40, and House T-shirts for $15.
Parents are invited to our next Coffee and Conversations meeting on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
The next SGA Meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026.
