First Day of School Forms

First Day of School paperwork is available in Infinite Campus for your review and signature. If you have not already completed these forms, please do so as soon as possible.

Parents, if you have not yet created an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account, please review the attached instructions. Infinite Campus allows you to monitor your child's grades, attendance, assignments, and important school information throughout the year.

We also ask that you check and confirm your contact information is up-to-date in the portal.

Title I Parent Nights

We enjoyed seeing our new and returning parents at our Title 1 Parent Nights held last week. For those who were unable to attend, you can locate the information shared during each session on the Parent App.

Upcoming Assessments

Students will participate in the following assessments:

These assessments provide valuable information about student progress and help us tailor instruction to meet student needs.

Athletics Information

Sports schedules can be found on the PCMS website. We encourage everyone to come out and support our War Eagle student-athletes throughout the season.

Scholastic Book Fair

Our Annual Book Fair will be held August 31 through September 4. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to discover new books and foster a love of reading.

Picture Day

Picture Day is scheduled for September 3, 2026.

Students who are absent on Picture Day will have an opportunity to participate in Picture Make-Up Day on October 1, 2026.

Student Code of Conduct

Parents are encouraged to review the 2026-2027 Student Code of Conduct, which is available on the middle school website. Familiarity with these expectations helps us work together to maintain a positive school environment.

Attention Early College Parents....

Beginning Monday, August 17, 2026, all Early College students who are transported to school by car and arrive at Putnam County Middle School (PCMS) in the morning must be dropped off through the PCMS car rider line.

Yearbooks will go on sale soon. Continue to monitor our website and social media.

PCMS Homecoming is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16 at the PCMS Football Stadium

PCMS Sneaker Ball will be held October 29 in the PCMS Gymnasium from 5:00 - 7:00. Students may not have any ISS or OSS. The cost is $10 and is non-refundable. Tickets will go on sale September 14th.
