It has been a great first month of school! Students have adjusted well to school and classroom routines and procedures, and we are proud of the progress they have made.
Student MAP Report
You should have received your child's MAP Assessment Student Report from the assessment administered last month. This report provides valuable insight into your child's areas of strength and opportunities for growth. If you have any questions about the report or your child's results, please contact your child's Language Arts or Mathematics teacher.
Based on your child's individual assessment data, additional academic intervention may be recommended to support continued growth and achievement. If an intervention is needed for your child, you will be notified and provided with additional information.
Infinite Campus
Please take a moment to log in to Infinite Campus and verify that your contact information is current and accurate. Keeping your information updated ensures that you receive important school communications and emergency notifications.
Athletics Information
Sports schedules are available on the PCMS website. We encourage everyone to come out and support our War Eagle student-athletes throughout the season!
Student Code of Conduct
Parents are encouraged to review the 2026-2027 Student Code of Conduct, which is available on the middle school website. Familiarity with these expectations helps us work together to maintain a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment for all students. We ask all families to review the Dress Code Policy and help us ensure students remain in compliance.
Gifted/Talented
National History Day: Topic Selection/Project Category is due September 30th.
Science Fair: Students topic statement is due tomorrow, September 8th.
School Safety
Last week, we conducted our annual intruder drill. The students did a phenomenal job!
Continue to encourage your student to immediately report anything that appears unsafe, suspicious, or concerning. Remind them that "If you see something, say something" is more than a slogan. It is an important responsibility that helps protect everyone in our school community.
In Other News...
The mental health screener is being rescheduled. We will let you know the date when the schedule is finalized.
PCMS Homecoming is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16 at the PCMS Football Stadium.
PCMS Sneaker Ball will be held October 29 in the PCMS Gymnasium from 5:00-7:00 PM.
Admission: $10 (non-refundable)
Tickets go on sale September 14
Students may not have any ISS or OSS referrals to attend.
Friday Concessions: Concessions will be sold every Friday. At this time, we are only able to accept cash.
Progress Reports will be available in Infinite Campus on September 9.
Students arriving after 8:00 AM must be checked in by an adult. There are no checkouts after 2:00 p.m.
