Dear War Eagle Families,

We hope you and your family are doing well and enjoying the fall season! Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we work together to help every student succeed. Please take a moment to review the important updates and reminders below.

MAP Assessment Results

You should have received your child's Student Profile Report from the first administration of the MAP Assessment. This report provides valuable information about your student's current academic performance and growth in reading and mathematics.

The MAP Assessment is designed to measure what students know and are ready to learn next. Unlike a traditional test that measures mastery of specific standards, MAP helps us identify each student's instructional level and track academic growth throughout the school year.

To help close gaps in learning and accelerate growth, students should work in Liftoff each day at home:

• 15 minutes in Language Arts

• 15 minutes in Math

Students who have already earned their rockets should focus on completing their individualized study plans. Should you have questions, please contact your child's teacher.

We also ask that you help your child be prepared for learning each day by ensuring their Chromebook is fully charged each night.

Fall Break Reminder

Please remember that Fall Break is October 12-16. There will be no school for students during this time.

We hope our War Eagle families enjoy a safe, restful, and enjoyable break! Classes will resume on Monday, October 19.

PCMS Sneaker Ball

Mark your calendars for one of our favorite events of the year!

Date: October 29

Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Location: PCMS Gymnasium

Admission: $10 (non-refundable)

Tickets are now on sale and may be purchased in the front office or online through eStore.

Please Note:

• Students may not have any ISS or OSS referrals in order to attend.

• Tickets are non-refundable.

• Students must be picked up promptly at 7:00 PM.

Friday Concessions

Concessions will be available for purchase every Friday. At this time, we are only able to accept cash payments.

✅ Attendance Reminders

To ensure the safety and accountability of all students:

• Students arriving after 8:00 AM must be checked in by an adult.

• There are no student checkouts after 2:00 PM.
