During this difficult time, we continue to keep the Weathers family in our thoughts and prayers. We hope this gathering will provide an opportunity for our community to unite, reflect, and celebrate Kayden's life.

My name is Emma Sindersine! I am so excited to be teaching at PCMS this year! I am a recent GCSU graduate with my bachelor's in special education and will be teaching 6th grade Math.
I am from Albany, GA and in my free time I enjoy hanging out with my cat Poppy, playing lacrosse, and cooking!
I completed my student teaching at PCMS and cannot wait to be back for an excellent school-year!

I am excited to join the Putnam County Middle School family as the Band Director! I am originally from Waycross, Georgia, and earned my Bachelors degree in Music Education from Valdosta State University. I have been teaching music for 11 years and am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Music Education. I am passionate about helping students grow in their musical abilities, confidence, and creativity, and I look forward to building meaningful relationships with students and families while creating a positive, engaging, and supportive band program. I am thrilled to begin this new chapter at PCMS and can’t wait to make music together!

Nick has spent the past 17 years working in education. During that time, he has served both as a teacher and coach, working with students in the classroom and through athletics while helping them develop confidence, accountability, and teamwork. Most recently, he taught at Claxton High School, where he also led programs focused on improving student accountability and attendance.
Outside of school, Nick enjoys spending time with his family, following college football and other sports, and tackling home improvement projects. He is honored to have the opportunity to serve the Putnam County community.

I earned my bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern and I'm currently working toward my masters there, as well. My husband, Philip, is an EMT, and together we have a precious 9-month-old son. We recently bought our first home in Putnam County and are so excited to be part of this wonderful community!
When I'm not in the classroom, you'll usually find me watching NASCAR, cheering on Georgia football, or catching up on reality TV. I can't wait for a fun and successful school year!

I hold a master's degree in education from Mercer University and have earned Reading and Dyslexia Endorsements, which helps me to support the unique learning needs of each student. This will be my sixth year in education and 1st year in middle school, and I’m committed not only to academic growth but also to building meaningful relationships with students and encouraging them to believe in their abilities. Along with building connections with students, I believe that when teachers and families work together, students thrive.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy life with my husband of 23 years, Brian Alliston, and our two children, Peyton who will be going into her junior year this year, and Spencer who will be entering 5th grade. Family time is very important to me and in my spare time I love reading and crafting.
I am excited for a wonderful year of learning, growth, and connection with our PCMS students.

Led by Director Teena Carr, the 2026 Georgia School Nutrition Association Director of the Year, our program brings farm-fresh food straight to students’ plates. Her dedication to healthy meals is making a meaningful impact on our community. Thank you, Mrs. Carr!

Their experience extended beyond campus as they explored career pathways at LaGrange Airport, met pilots and mechanics, and even had the chance to take off and land a plane in a flight simulator—definitely a highlight!
Students also deepened their learning through visits to local museums and wrapped up the week with a fun trip to Great Wolf Lodge before showcasing their powerful film essay projects, each reflecting a unique and meaningful perspective.
This incredible experience concluded with a special luncheon alongside college leadership, our Superintendent, and community partners, marking the beginning of what we hope will be a lasting partnership. We are so proud of these students and grateful to everyone who made this opportunity possible!
